Product history

Read the product's evolution in stable chapters, with original versioned evidence and a current snapshot.

Where the product stands

History starts with the latest recorded shipment and active outcomes. A shipment names its environment, exact release candidate, repository revisions and deployment evidence. A completed task, merged PR or cut release page alone does not establish that the product shipped.

Use the Overview for decisions and next work. History explains how the product got here; Activity remains the detailed event ledger, and board undo remains a separate editing history.

Read by chapter

Chapters group work around outcomes, sprints and release records, newest first. Their identities and positions remain stable when underlying work changes. The reading snapshot stays fixed until you choose Refresh history, so new events do not insert chapters above you mid-read.

The phase labels distinguish recorded Planned, Implemented, Verified and Shipped facts. Existing work first captured during migration is labelled as an observed state; it does not invent an earlier decision or shipment.

Open original evidence

Expand a chapter to inspect its original tasks, decisions, screenshots, attachments and candidate evidence. Each source retains its identity and version. A newer attachment or a removed live task reference does not replace the retained original.

Text documents, images and PDFs can be read inline. A linked board preview is explicitly the board as it appears today; its historical reference remains unchanged. Source-task links open the live task, while original-evidence links identify the retained version.

Edit the explanation

Edit chapter changes the title and narrative separately from source facts. Your edits survive refreshes and later source changes. Saving checks the narrative version: if another person edited it, reload and review their change before saving again. Editing prose cannot change original evidence or chapter order.

Load older work

Load older chapters and Load more sources fetch bounded pages within the same reading snapshot. The API defaults to 20 chapters per page, at most 50, and 50 sources per chapter page, at most 200. Continuation cursors carry the snapshot; do not combine cursors from different reads.
